Lessons

Sound Process offers private one-on-one music lessons for guitar and bass. What sets Sound Process apart from the local music store lesson experience?

  • Well-Rounded Instruction
  • Individualized Approach
  • Low-key Environment
  • Flexibility

Well-Rounded Instruction

Kevin Schultz is the main instructor at Sound Process. He has played guitar for almost 40 years and bass for 22 years. In addition, Kevin has 23 years of experience leading bands, with the last 17 years serving as the Director of Music at Grace Fellowship of South Forsyth. Lessons focus on technique, theory, and feel. All are necessary to be an accomplished musician.

Individualized Approach

Each student is different. This is a given. With that in mind, lessons at Sound Process are designed to the individual student’s needs and goals. There is no one-size fits all approach here.

Low-key Environment

Instead of the hallway of tiny rooms with various lesson sounds merging into a distracting din found at your local store, Sound Process lessons are held in our teacher’s soundproofed home studio with the requisite resources not only to teach but also record and do basic service on instruments as well.

Flexibility

At your local store, you have to pay in advance for lessons and makeup missed ones as refunds are never given. At Sound Process, we are flexible. Payment is only due at the time of each lesson. One lesson is just $25. Need to miss a week’s lesson? No problem. With adequate notice, there are no cancellation penalties.
